Ministers' discussions with Mudragada Padmanabham seems Successful; Called off Strike
Ministers Yerram Naidu and kala Venkata rao today met kapu leader Mudragada Padmanabham at the latter's residence in kirlampudi and held discussion for about one-and-a -half-hour. As per the reports, the discussions of the Ministers with kapu leader Mudragada seems to be fruitful as the latter has now allowed the doctors for treating him.
The Ministers had discussions over 4 major issues-
1. Manjunadha commission Report
2. Members of the Kapu Commission
3. Funds to Kapu corporation
4. Cases on Kapus over Tuni Incident
Kapunadu leader Mudragada Padmanabham, who is on an indefinite hunger strike seeking BC quota for Kapus, had called off his hunger strike in the afternoon on Monday. Sources in the TDP said that talks between Mudragada and MLA Thota Trimurthulu and MLC Boddu Bhaskara Rama Rao were fruitful. It is learnt that the TDP leaders have put forth three proposals before Mudragada.
Proposals include to ask Manjunatha Commission to submit its report as quickly as possible, to include Mudragada suggested persons in BC Commission,sanction loans to people of Kapu community, to lift cases on the kapus in the Tuni incident.
The Government had agreed to the above proposals raised by the Kapu leader Mudragada padmanabham.

Chiranjeevi and Rahuveera Reddy Arrested
Kakinada: Congress leaders Raghuveera reddy, Chiranjeevi are arrested at Rajahmundry airport. The former leaders planned to visit kirlampudi today and express their solidarity. As soon as the leaders reached Rajahmundry airport, the police arrested them.
Dasari Narayana Rao House Arrested
Director turned politician Dasari Narayanrao was hiuse arrested today by the police. As Dasari Narayanrao, film and Kapu leader, arrived in Rajahmundry to visit the fasting Mudragada Padmanabham, the police have surrounded the hotel where the film-maker is staying.
he entire East Godavari district has become a police bastion. The police have raised bandobast in all cities in the district.
The film-maker is facing a virtual hotel arrest. Dasari had already appealed to the authorities that he be allowed to meet the fasting Padmanabham, but the police say they have no orders to the effect. Besides, all roads leading to Kirlampudi, where Padmanabham is fasting, have been sealed.
The police and Dasari are both in dilemma, as there are no clear orders about meeting with the fasting Padmanabham.
Meanwhile, the Padbanabhams, who are both sitting on a fast-unto-death, have closed their doors and continuing with the fast in their house.
Whatever happens on the ground, Dasari, the king of melodrama films, is sure to come out with a blockbuster. Guest appearances by Power Star Pavan Kalyan, who has appealed to the government to take the initiative for talks with Padmanabham, in such a film is not ruled out. For once, it would be a social film, unlike the escapist fare the Andhras are fed with.
Mudragada Padmanabham's indefinite hunger strike reaches fourth day
Today in the morning, the doctors who came to carry out medical tests were not allowed into the house. As the doors were closed, the doctors had to wait ouside from the morning.
The Andhra Pradesh government's representatives will be discussing the issue with mudragada today. Congress leaders Raghuveera reddy, Chiranjeevi would reach kirlampudi today and express their solidarity.
