Allot 85% seats to locals in Padmavati Varsity: Raghuveera Reddy

Hyderabad: Andhra Pradesh Congress Committee chief Raghuveera Reddy today demanded that government should allot 85% seats during admissions to locals only in Padmavati Mahila University of Tirupati.

Speaking to media, Raghuveera demanded that the state government should immediately withdraw GO No 120 that lists out rules regarding admission procedures related to Padmavati University.

He then said medical seat allocation should be done as per the directions of the High Court. He then asked the government to withdraw the appeal filed in the Supreme Court against the high court orders.
