A 25-day-old infant was kidnapped from its house, allegedly by a woman, while the mother was sleeping, at Madhuranagar in Tirupati. Locals who saw the woman wearing a red saree, with the baby, thought she was a relative. But when the mother ran out weeping, they rushed to the police and lodged a complaint. Search is on for the culprit. The parents of the victim are workers from Nepal.
