Pandemonium prevailed at the meeting held with the Machilipatnam Port evacuees. MP Konakalla Narayana and Minister Kollu Ravindra convened the meeting with the farmers of six villages at Machilipatnam today. The farmers have refused to give lands for the port though the MP and Minister promised a better packages. Tension prevailed for a while as TDP supporters alleged that farmers owing allegiance to YSRCP were only opposing land acquisition.
