Jaipur: While protests are still continuing over the suicide of University of Hyderabad (UoH) research scholar Rohit Vemula, another student of Rajasthan Central University committed suicide on Friday.
The deceased, identifed as Mohit Kumar Chauhan, was a PhD scholar of Central University of Rajasthan. A native of Uttar Pradesh, he was pursuing his PhD in Mathematics from the University. On Friday night, he did not respond to his friend's phone call for dinner. A group of his friends then went to his hostel room, only to find him hanging from the ceiling.
The University vice chancellor AK Pujari said, doctors declared Rohit as brought dead when they rushed him to the hospital. He denied, Mohit having any problems either with the professors or with him.
