The speaker of Telangana Assembly S Madhusudana Chary has accepted the merger of 12 TDP MLAs with the TRS Legislature Party on Thursday. TRS leaders are maintaining mum on the matter as it was against to law and democracy.
Some of the media folks tried to get the response of Telangana IT minister KTR on the matter. KTR spoke few words about merger of TDP MLA'S into their party and said that the party has nothing to do with this.
KTR said that it was Speaker's decision and added that why should he or party have an interference in the ruling passed by the honourable Speaker. KTR even said that it's not right on commenting on Speaker's decision.
TDP is planning to contest the decision of the Speaker in the courts and planning to seek disqualification of rebels MLAs. Otherisde TDP is going to lose its office in Assembly. The assembly rules prescribe that the party should have not less than five MLAs to get a separate office.
