Mega Powerstar Ram Charan is prepping for the new schedule of Thani Oruvan's remake and he will join the shooting from the 14th of this month. The actor, apart from films, also took up a few social causes in the past and he is actively involved with his father's Chiranjeevi charitable trust.
Now, Charan has joined hands with Telangana police for a social cause. Charan, along with Hyderabad police, will be campaigning for women's safety in Telangana. Through this campaign, Charan will vouch for the importance of women empowerment along with the knowledge on women's right to safety.
This special legal awareness campaign will be launched soon and Charan will also participate in a self-defence workshop for nearly 2,000 young girls and women at People's Plaza very soon. Incidentally, Charan will be playing the role of an IPS officer in Thani Oruvan's remake.
