APCC team leaves for Delhi to demand AP special status

The delegation led by APCC president Raghuveera Reddy comprising party leaders and workers from the North Andhra, headed to Delhi in the name of 'Chalo Delhi' demanding special status for Andhra Pradesh. The Congress party collected 1 crore signatures from the people on implementation of the promises made in the AP Reorganisation Act. The APCC members will raise their voice near the Parliament and will meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi and President Pranab Mukherjee in New Delhi to exert pressure on the Centre to honour the assurances given in the AP Reorganisation Act, 2014.
