Bhuma Nagireddy quits as PAC Chief

Nandyala YSRC MLA Bhuma Nagireddy today resigned from the post of Chairman of Public Accounts Committe (PAC). A day after the assertion of YSRC leaders that Bhuma Nagireddy would remain in the party, Nagareddy gave a rude shock to leadership and submitted his resignation letter in the speaker’s office at Hyderabad this afternoon. He did not say anything about his plan after resignation. ” I will tell you everything soon,” was his reply to the waiting media.

This happened amid CM’s hectic consultations with leaders from Kurnool district at Vijayawada. His rivals in Nandyala, Shilpa Mohan Reddy and Shilpa Chakrapani Reddy called on chief minister Naidu today. Deputy chief minister KE Krishnamurthy and AP TDP president Kala Venkatarao were also present in the meeting. This is seen as a clear indication that Naidu got the nod from the Kurnool leaders for the entry of Bhuma into the party. According to the sources, Bhuma submitted his resignation from PAC chairman post only after the got clearance from the Kurnool district leaders especially from Shilpa brothers.

Bhuma is expected to meet chief minister today or tomorrow along with his daughter Akhilapriya to accept the Yellow Kanduva from Naidu.

From Kadapa district, C Adinarayana Reddy, YSRC MLA from Jammalamadugu, left for Vijayawada reportedly to meet Chandrababu Naidu and join the party.

In another important development, Bobbli YSRCP MLA Sujaya Krishna Ranga Rao is also said to be in touch with the TDP. Rangarao has been unhappy with the party leadership over the admission of Botsa Satyanayarana. So, TDP, according to the reports, successfully trapped the Bobbili MLA.TDP national general secreatary Lokesh Babu is said to have handled the admission of Rangarao into TDP.
