MRPS Ratha Yatra from March 10

Vijayawada: Alleging that the State government is adopting anti-Madiga policies, Madiga Reservation Porata Samithi (MRPS) founder Manda Krishna Madiga said ‘Madigala Ratha Yatra’ will be organised from March 10 to April 30 in the State demanding the SC categorisation.

Addressing mediapersons here on Wednesday, Krishna Madiga said the Ratha Yatra will begin from the Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu’s home town Naravaripalle on March 10 after paying tributes to the parents of the Chief Minister. He recalled the padayatra the MRPS cadre took out from Naravaripalle in 1996 demanding the SC categorisation. But he lamented their demand has not met even after two decades.
