The Aam Aadmi Party has appointed former IPS officer N. Dilip Kumar, a resident of Vizag as one of the members of the new Lokpal committee. On Sunday, the party removed its internal Lokpal admiral L. Ramdas and Prashant Bhushan as the chief of national disciplinary committee.

Yogendra Yadav and Bhushan were also expelled from the national executive (NE). The AAP has announced that Mr Kumar has been picked to replace the former navy chief, Admiral L. Ramdas (retd) at the AAP Lokpal.

Mr Kumar was the anti-corruption adviser of the previous AAP government.
