The Delhi unit of Bharatiya Janata Party would felicitate the newly appointed Chief Ministers in the States wherein the party emerged victorious after the Lok Sabha polls along with Prime Minister Narendra Modi and party president Amit Shah at the Ramlila Maidan on January 10.
With the rally being a formal launch of election campaign in the Capital, Delhi BJP in-charge said apart from felicitating the leaders for ensuring back to back electoral victories, it would also be an occasion for the party workers to pledge that they would continue the winning streak with the slogan Ab Delhi Ki Baari Hai.
“The Delhi unit led by state president Satish Upadhyay would felicitate Prime Minister Narendra Modi, party president Amit Shah, Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis, Haryana CM Jagdish Khattar, Jharkhand CM Raghuvar Das. Over the next few days, the situation is likely to be clear how things pan out in Jammu and Kashmir. Whoever, emerges to be the leader there would also be felicitated,” said Mr. Jha.
The sources said, by felicitating these leaders, the party aims to “create a pro-BJP atmosphere in the Capital” besides targeting the regional voters coming from these States ahead of the polls.
