Hyderabad: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu has been playing the BJP card while trying hard to sell “brand AP” in Japan during his visit there.
Mr Naidu on Thursday, in a series of meetings with the CEOs of Japanese companies, told them that BJP ministers are part of his government and he is maintaining good relations with the Central government in India.The CM also revealed that he wants to introduce Japanese language in the universities in AP. He stressed on Buddhism being a common factor to both and added that Buddhist tourism is being developed in AP.
He told Isuzu officials “After 25 years, now we have a government with a full majority in India. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is a strong leader. We will have strong growth for the next 30 years.”He added that AP is a virgin state and it is strategically located from where access can be Kolkata, Mumbai, Bengaluru and Chennai can be easily accessed.
Japan and AP have a similar culture and Japan adopted Buddhism from our country and now we want to adopt the culture of hard work from you.We have a good Buddhism tourist circuit. We want to develop this circuit further. NTR installed one of the biggest statues of Buddha in Hyderabad,” Naidu said.
Mr Naidu added, There is red carpet waiting for you. Come to Andhra Pradesh and be our guests.
