Telangana Minister Harish Rao is supporting their strike, claimed Awsthama Reddy, a trade union leader of the Andhra Pradesh Road Transport Corporation (APSRTC) here today.

Reddy further claimed that Telangana Transport Minister Mahendra Reddy is a major hinderence to their strike and their demands.

Awsthama Reddy then urged the Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekahr Rao to intervene and find a solution to their problems.

Several RTC union leaders alleged that people in high offices are scheming to privatise the corporation and claimed that it is because of the rigid attitude of the managing director Sambasiva Rao the strike is getting prolonged.

They criticised Sambasiva Rao for behaving like an agent of Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu. The union leaders threatened to intensify their strike from Monday if the government doesn't agree to their just demands.
