The farmers of Gannavaram  met YSRCP chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy on Friday May 1. They expressed their distress over the acquisition of their agricultural land by the government in the name of Gannavaram Airport expansion.

The farmers submitted a letter of requisition regarding the same to YS Jagan. The government has already passed a Go for acquisition of lands from the  villages of  Kesara palli, Dhavaji Gudem, Ajjampudi, Buddhavaram that are surrounding the Gannavaram airport. YS Jagan comforted the farmereas and assured them that he would do his best to severe the interests of the striving farmers.
