VHP Chief Targets Naidu's Foreign Trips
Pravin Togadia, the working president of Vishva Hindu Parishad [VHP] has slammed the chief minister of Andhra Pradesh for ignoring the temples in the state. Speaking to the media at Tirumala, the senior leader has pointed out the lack of renovation activities at pilgrimage destination like Sri Kalahasthi.
"Mr Naidu is more interested in foreign tours, but not interested in preserving the culture of our old temples. The Raja Gopuram at Kalahasthi was damaged many years back and none of the governments focused on repairing and renovating it. Even the current CM has failed to bring back the lost glory," said Togadia after visiting the Tirumala temple.
Pravin Togadia has accused the chief ministers of both the Telugu states - Chandrababu Naidu and KCR in the past for providing financial aid for the poor families of Christian and Muslim minorities. He demanded them to help the backward classes from Hindu religion by providing them the financial support to visit pilgrim places like Tirupati, etc. Though we haven't seen Naidu responding to Togadia at that time, he needs to address the renovation issue at least now.
