NEW DELHI: An earthquake of 5.2 magnitude struck Nepal on Friday night at around 10.05pm.
Strong tremors were felt in Kathmandu, according to US Geological Survey.
Panic-stricken people ran out of their houses in the capital city.
The epicentre of the quake was 16 kilometres from Kathmandu.
Tremors were also felt in several areas in northern parts of Bihar.
