GHMC collects Rs. 980 cr property tax for 2015-2016

Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) collected property tax worth Rs. 980 cr for the year 2015 to 2016. On the last day that is yesterday itself a sum of Rs. 90 cr was collected. However, the GHMC revenue has decreased by Rs. 88 cr due to the decision of Telangana government to waive property tax that is less than Rs. 1,200, GHMC Commissioner Janardhan Reddy said.
