Hyderabad: The city-based infrastructure company, IVRCL Limited is feeling the heat after the Kolkata flyover collapse, which claimed 18 lives on Thursday. According to reports, two teams of Kolkata police have arrived in the city to collect information and documents related to the flyover.
Today, the special branch sleuths went to the office of IVRCL and began enquiries with the staff.
Yesterday, AGK Murthy, Director (Operations) described the accident as an act of god as no such accident occurred in any of projects undertaken by the company. He said they were unable to comprehend how the accident happened in Kolkata.
It is said the flyover works were delayed for seven years and as per the contract they were supposed to be executed within one-and-a-half year.
