The AP State Government has extended the dead line by May 31 to enable the farmers to lodge their grievances/complaints in the second phase of loan waiver.
Minister for Agriculture Prathipati Pulla Rao and State Planning vice president Cherukuri Kutumba Rao said that the decision was taken in view of severe heat wave conditions prevailing in the State. They said that complaints/grievances will be accepted at revenue division centres apart from district centres.
It may be noted here that even after one year of the Chief Minister signing the loan waiver file, as many as 4.10 lakh complaints from all the 13 districts have been received. Kutumba Rao said that 3.65 complaints have been received attention and the amounts to all the eligible ones’ accounts will be credit with funds by June third week. However, there is no clarify on crediting to the accounts of the account holders who died. It is estimated that there would be around 18,000 such accounts.
Minister for agriculture Pulla Rao said that the tenant farmers of 1.50 lakh farmers who took loans under Rythu Mitra, Loan Eligibility, Joint Liability Group were scrapped.
