New Delhi: Telangana Panchayat Raj Minister K. Taraka Rama Rao announced here today that HUDCO (Housing Urban Development Corporation) has in principle agreed to provide a loan of Rs.10,000 Cr for the ambitious water grid project of the state.
Speaking to reporters after receiving the Housing Urban Development Corporation Award from the Government of India here on Monday, KTR said the HUDCO officials have appreciated the programme and agreed to provide a loan of Rs.10,000 Cr.
Earlier ,Union Urban Development Minister M.Venkaiah Naidu presented the award to KTR at a special programme drawn up at Habitat Center.
HUDCO announced the special award to Telangana for its ambitious Water Grid Programme. Receiving the award, KTR said that the Telangana Government would complete the water grid project in the next four years.
To a question, he said Telangana Government is taking all possible steps to ensure the safe arrival of its stranded people in Nepal to Hyderabad.
