Japanese team visits solar power plant site
Collector CH Vijay Mohan said that an ultra-modern mega solar hub would be set up at Pinnapuram in Panyam mandal and Gadivemula mandal in Ghani areas.
Speaking to the media after inspecting the sites at Ghani village along with a Japanese team here on Sunday, he said that 5,000 acres of land was sanctioned at Pinnapuram village and another 5,000 acres in Ghani village by the State government. The Collector told the Japanese delegation that the government would take steps to ensure basic amenities like water at the site of the solar hub through the SRBC canal.
He said that the villages in the surrounding areas would not face any power outages if the solar power plants were installed and the farmers would be immensely benefitted as 500 megawatts of electricity would be produced by the solar plant.
Joint Collector K Kanna Babu was also present with the Japanese delegation.
