Hyderabad: The Telangana State power distribution companies on Saturday sought time till March 4 to submit the Annual Revenue Returns, for the fifth time.
In its petition filed with the TS Electricity Regulatory Commission, the discoms said they would file the ARR after the state government gives clarity on taking over the debt servicing of 75 per cent of the total loan burden under the Ujwal Discoms Assurance Yojana.
Sources said the discoms were not filing the ARR following directions from the state government. They had not filed the ARR earlier citing the GHMC elections. They have now sought a postponement, though the notification for elections to the Khammam and Warangal municipal corporations are expected soon.
