Temperatures are rising in Andhra Pradesh. Anantpur, Kurnool, Cuddapah, Chittoor, Nellore, Prakasam and Visakhapatnam districts have all registered high temperatrues.
In Anantpur, it was 41 degrees Centigrade, in Kurnool and Nandyal 40 degrees, Tirupati and Jangameshwar 39 degrees and Cuddapah registered 38 degrees.
Nellore, Ongole, Vizag, Narasapur and Kakinada have registered 35 degrees. In Guntur and Krishna districts 35 and 34 degrees were registered, respectively.
The Meteorological office said the rise in temperatures were reaching the peak in March.
The people have been advised to protect themselves from the rising temperatures.
