Hyderabad: A six-year-old boy died after falling in a water sump while playing in front of his home at Katedan in Rajendranagar on Sunday. According to sources, Uday Kumar (6), son of a daily labourer Satyanarayana from Venkateshwara Nagar Colony in Katedan, was playing in front of his home on Sunday afternoon, while his parents were sleeping.
After sometime, the boy’s parents searched for him but found the body in the water sump located beside their house. With the help of neighbours, the body of Uday Kumar was taken out and informed police. The Mailardevpally police shifted the body to Osmania General Hospital mortuary for autopsy and booked a case of suspicious death for investigation.
