The Congress party which ruled Andhra Pradesh for last one decade was reduced to Zero figure after the bifurcation. Now, Congress has pinned high hopes on Special Category Status issue for staging a comeback in Andhra Pradesh.
The Congress Party had announced a dharna on this issue in the National Capital and sources say that this will be attended by Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi as well. If Congress indeed becomes serious about this, then Center may start feeling some pinch.
The issue of Special Package and the dismal budgetary allocations have been troubling Chandrababu very much and he is once again exerting pressure on Narendra Modi.
