The revenue deficit of Andhra Pradesh as on date stands at Rs 13,787 crore. With the financial year drawing to a close, the Centre has released AP an amount of: guess how much? Rs 1535 crore!
Of this Rs.500 crore is towards revenue deficit compensation, Rs.200 crore towards Polavaram reimbursement, Rs.200 crore for capital city, Rs.360 crore for drought relief, and Rs.275 crore under MGNREGS.
Rs 200 crore for capital city will definitely have Naidu gritting his teeth in anger. It’s like giving a Luna to a person who was expecting a Mercedes Benz. But Naidu can do nothing about it.
The BJP does not need his support at the Centre and if Naidu does anything extra, they will give complete freedom to KCR to pursue the Stephenson case. Naidu will then have to spend his time in the new prison in the new capital.
Under his reign, there is hardly any chance for the State to develop except for the people of his community.
