Vijayawada: TDP MP Murali Mohan here on Thursday hit back at a Telugu media house for its campaign against him over his real estate business. He threatened to explore legal remedies available against the campaign. Accusing the media house of mudslinging, the MP said he never resorted to any illegal means, while conducting real estate business.
Tracing the roots of the business to 1993, Murali Mohan said that he had begun his business at Hyderabad on his own and without being a benami of any one, including the present Chief Minister, N Chandrababu Naidu. “Agreement of every inch of land that I bought was vetted by my lawyers and I have conducted the business without a blemish so far,” he added.
He sought to leave his mark in Andhra Pradesh too after its bifurcation and hence, negotiated with the farmers near Mangalagiri and entered into an agreement to develop seven acres of land. YSRCP leader Jagan Mohan Reddy was unfairly targeting him to divert people's attention from his political problems.
