KOLKATA:
There could be a possible meeting between Prime Minister Narendra Modi and West Bengal chief minister Mamata Banerjee if there is a last minute change in schedule in Modi's one day official trip on Kolkata on May 9.

According to sources from the state secretariat, though there is no official schedule fixed so far for any meeting to be held between Mamata and Modi, there could be last minute changes in the schedule for having a possible meeting.

As per the official schedule as the state secretariat has received, the PM is scheduled to arrive on May 9 and will go to Belur Math where the PM is scheduled to have a meeting with the Math officials. From there, the PM is scheduled to meet head officials of different insurance companies in the city. Sources from the state secretariat said that there is a possibility that a last minute change in schedule will be done to have a one to one meeting possibly in Nabanna following the PM's official schedules.

Sources said that if a meeting between the PM and Bengal CM indeed takes place after a last minute change in schedule, the moratorium issue and the issue of getting central funds for various projects will be raised.
