A widow, identified as Reena and hailing from Neredmet in Hyderabad, has been living along with her 2-year-old son. A person named Narendra has developed friendship with her and soon became her lover. Last year, he took her along with him convincing that he will marry her and help her in getting a job. Narendra, afterwards, raped her along with his friends. After coming to know that she is pregnant, Narendra poured acid in her mouth. This has ruined her health and she later died in Gandhi Hospital after struggling for three days.
