Telangana Chief Minister said today that Telangana was a front runner in welfare activities with a massive allocation of Rs.28,000 crore .

Addressing a massive public meeting at parade grounds, as part of the first plenary of the party, the chief minister said Telangana government is able to do this by not getting resources from elsewhere but by spending the  tax collected in on Telangana soil only.

Hyderabad city came to a stand still  as a pink wave swept the  state capital  from all  the 10 Telangana districts in huge numbers. The parade grounds appeared like a jatara of  Telangana folklores, culture and folkarts. Nearly 4000 policemen geared  up  the traffic and  security as  thousands of buses brought people for the meeting from all over the  state.

Telangana CM did not spare his AP counterpart Chandrababu Naidu for his lackadaisical remarks on the functioning of TS government. "Why cannot he take care of his problems and his affairs? Right now he is a CM without a capital, assembly or even a high court and is existing on borrowed infrastructure,"he said.

Rao said that Telengana will never give up its rights to use the quota of water in Krishna and Godavari rivers and will complete the Palamoor lift irrigation project on war footing even if Chandrababu Naidu raised hue and cry. "Let Naidu raise an inter-state dispute  if he wants," he said amidst cheers from his captive crowd.
