Salary payment Bill for MLAs, MLCs, introduced in TS Assembly

Minister Harish Rao introduced the Bill for hike in salaries and pensions of MLAs and MLCs in Telangana Assembly today. The basic salary has been hiked by Rs. 20,000. The gross hike in salaries will be from Rs. 95,000 to Rs. 2.58 lakh. House Rent Allowance (HRA) has been hiked from Rs. 25,000 to Rs. 50,000. Special car security allowance will be Rs. 25,000. All this hike will cost the exchequer Rs. 42.67 crores.
