In an introspective interview, firebrand leader of YSRCP Ambati Rambabu today said that overconfidence caused the poll debacle for YSRCP and himself. He said the party had over-estimated the popularity of YSRCP chief YS Jaganmohan Reddy before the elections and said the party was unable to recognise the slow slide in popularity of the Jagan and other party leaders among the common people.
