Deputy Speaker Padma Devender Reddy breaks down in the Assembly after Congress MLA D.K.Aruna made controversial comments on her. Speaking in the Assembly, the MLA said that the house is run by those who have no culture.
In reaction, the legislative affairs Minister Harish Rao sought apology from the Congress MLA. Harish Rao, on this occassion raised YCP MLA Roja's suspension issue to the notice of the Assembly. He stated that the AP Assembly had suspended an MLA for one year for her remarks which is condemnable.
" The suspension of a MLA for one year is not to be supported and we will not do the same if the situation arises", said Harish Rao.
As the Congress MLA DK Aruna stated that she had not made such comments against the chair, Minister Harish rao tried to move a motion to suspend the Congress MLA for a day or two. But the Deputy speaker intervened and asked the Minister to leave the matter to the conscience of the leaders who made such comments.
