Looks like bad time will not cease to haunt the YSRCP president YS Jagan anytime soon. Rattled with the defections of 6 of his party MLAs into TDP, Jagan has been frantically meeting his remaining MLAs in a bid to control the damage.
In the wake of TDP leaders' claims that YSRCP will be emptied by March 5, Jagan today held an emergency meeting at Lotus Pond with his party MLAs to discuss the situation. In a rude shock, 7 MLAs were absent from the meeting, giving sleepless nights to the YSRCP chief.
Mani Gandhi (Kodumur), Sujaya Krishna Rangarao (Bobbili), Bala Nagi Reddy (Mantralayam), Mekapati Gautam Reddy (Atmakur), Tippeswami (Madanapalli), Siva Prasad Reddy (Proddutur) and Sucharitha (Pranyam) are the MLAs who were mysteriously absent from the meeting.
Already, Sujaya Krishna Rangarao was in news a couple weeks ago that he is ready to quit YSRCP to join TDP. However, YSRCP MLA Srikanth Reddy informed the media that the absented MLAs could not attend the meeting due to personal issues and requested the media not to spread speculations.
