Key files still waiting CM’s approval: TDP

Warangal: TDP Telangana president L Ramana has described Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao as a lethargic and inefficient CM ever seen.

‘The CM has visited the State secretariat just six times during the 21-month rule of the TRS government and the office is left for his grandson to play. As a result thousands of important files seeking the CM’s approval are pending,’ he criticised.

The government was engaging people in elections continuously while making money through works like Mission Bhagiratha. So far the government spent about Rs 2.10 lakh crore, of which majority amount was spent where elections were held.

Telangana was a surplus State in terms of revenues and had surplus revenue of Rs 70,000 crore. But the misrule of the TRS led the State into trap of debts worth Rs 1.60 crore. Many election promises like free KG to PG to all, were still pending, the TDP leader alleged.

Speaking to press persons in Hanamkonda on Wednesday, he hit at Minister T Harish Rao for his remarks against the TDP. The Minister was treated like ‘untouchable’ by the TRS leadership and was not allowed to campaign in GHMC elections, Ramana alleged.

But Harish Rao was calling the TDP as a non-entity, Ramana complained while advising Harish Rao not to make cheap comments against the TDP. The party was still being patronized by people in Telangana.
