Telangana IT Minister K. Taraka Ramarao on Saturday claimed that the TRS government had got Multi-Modal Transport System (MMTS) extended up to Yadadri Narasimhaswamy shrine.
He said the proposal was made and got approved by the Centre in 10 days. Work was going on, and the project would be completed in time. The TRS government was doing the needful for the project.
Transport would be improved with the MMTS, he said. A survey was being conducted for widening the MMTS network.
In the second phase of Metro rail, Miyapur-Patancheru link, LB Nagar-Hayatnagar, Rayadurg-Shamshabad, Nagole-Shamshabad and Tarnaka-ECIL would be taken up, he added.
