National Kabaddi Player Sukhvinder Narwhal’s murder caught on camera

New Delhi: In another case of daylight murder, a national-level Kabaddi player was shot five times in his village in Rohtak district of Haryana. The incident took place when 24-year-old Sukhvinder Narwhal was returning home after practice Wednesday evening. The incident has been recorded by security cameras at a house near the crime scene.

The video shows Narwhal walking on the side of a road while talking on phone, before being shot at by assailants. The attackers, who came on a scooter, shot Narwhal five times before leaving the spot. Narwhal is seen dropping to the ground right after the initial impact of the bullets.

Three months ago, another kabaddi player named Deepak Kumar was killed after men on a motorcycle shot at him in Rohtak. Kumar lay on the roadside for almost half an hour before his brother arrived to help him.

Police said a murder case has been registered against unidentified persons and a hunt has been launched to nab the killers.

According to the parents of the deceased, Sukhvinder did not have personal enmity with anyone.

Narwhal’s attackers are yet to be identified.
