Hyderabad: TDP MLA Sandra Venkata Veeraiah, who was arrested in cash-for-vote scam, alleged that Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) filed false cases against him at the behest of State government.

Speaking to media before entering the court, Sandra questioned how can ACB officials file cases on the basis of call data and vowed to wage a legal battle. Sandra asserted that he gave replies to all questions during investigation and cooperated with ACB officials.

Meanwhile, TDP called for bandh in Sattupalli in protest against the arrest of Sandra. Sources said that Sandra knew about his arrest and even packed clothes and other belongings.
