TDP Councillor Murdered in West Godavari
Eluru: The 16th ward councillor in Aurangabad municipality in Kovvur mandal of West Godavari district Patha Gopalakrishna was hacked to death by unidentified persons on Friday. Belonging to the ruling Telugu Desam Party, the deceased was owning a sand ramp in Aurangabad and the murder is suspected to be committed by his rivals.
The miscreants waylaid Gopalakrishna (52) while he was returning after attending a function at Kovvur on a bike and hacked him to death. Police are investigating from the angle of the sand mafia ,
