In the last general elections, TDP pulled off a stunning feat by winning all the seats in the West Godavari district. Now, in the wake of reports that all the YSRCP MLAs from the East Godavari district joining the yellow brigade soon, the TDP is set to conquer the twin Godavari districts.
Amidst Jaggampet MLA Subbarao announcing that he will join the TDP soon, even the YSRCP's senior leader from the East Jyothula Nehru too is said to be shifting his loyalties to the TDP. And here's the main reason behind Nehru quitting the YSRCP.
Nehru, the senior leader who played a key role in YSRCP activities, wanted the party's Public Accounts Committee Chairman's post. However, Jagan allotted the post to Rajendra Prasad Reddy, which obviously didn't go down well with Nehru.
Jagan apparently also insulted Nehru, who is a30-year-old veteran in politics. He openly felt that Nehru can't fit to this prestigious post.
Adding to this, Deputy CM Nimmakayala Chinnarajappa stating Nehru would have been in his chair if he had remained in the TDP also motivated Nehru to join the yellow bandwagon, along with 3 more YSRCP MLAs.
