JNU row of students raising slogans on Afzal Guru death anniversary and marking it as martydom in campus erupted huge uproar and chaos allover the nation. On this context, BJP senior leader Venkaiah Naidu opined that no American University would leave its students without getting them under disciplinary action if they observe and memorialize Osama Bin Laden's death.
The famous Princeton University president Christopher L. Eisgruber contradicts with Venkaiah Naidu's statement. He reveals his way to tolerate any disruptive, offensive and provoking speeches and prefer an argument and speech response to defer it, rather going for a censor or discipline way.
Princeton University has given 41 Nobel laureates so far. Christopher would prefer to disagree with that offensive speeches and views and its the fundamental advantage of the university. It is the argument and discussion that brings out the truth and uncovers the consistent way even to the people who make those disruptive speeches to make impressions on other students.
US Ambassador Richard Verma commented on JNU row saying that free speech is the hallmark of democracy in both countries and in response to that, Naidu tried to counter the statement straight with his question if any American University allows its students to celebrate the martyrdom anniversary of Laden.
