Nalgonda Congress MLA Komatireddy Venkat Reddy addressing the Assembly session on Sunday stated that he has not criticized the TRS government since elections and would appreciate anyone who serves Telangana. However, Komatireddy said that the TRS government is neglecting the concerns in Nalgonda district particularly in the water projects stating that the district was being shown step mother treatment.
Countering Komatireddy's allegations, Irrigation Minister Harish Rao clarified that Congress was neglecting Nalgonda and not the TRS government.
