New Delhi: There is no end to trouble for the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) government. Senior bureaucrat Ashish Joshi has written to the Anti-Corruption Branch chief MK Meena against Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal's secretary Rajender Kumar accusing him of allegedly indulging in corruption.

Ashish Joshi, former member-secretary of the Delhi Dialogue Commission (DDC), has asked the Panerai replica watches store Lt Governor-appointed ACB Chief MK Meena and sought to probe the role of Kumar when he was with departments of education, IT and Health of Delhi government. Sources in the ACB said the complaint will be examined and a notice may be issued to Kumar.

In his complaint to Meena, Joshi alleged that Kumar, as director of Education (from May, 2002 to February, 2005) and later Secretary (IT), Secretary (Health) and Commissioner (VAT), had allegedly set up various companies to award work orders of departments without tenders which caused "financial loss" to the city's government.

Shunted bureaucrat Joshi, who had a public spat with DDC vice-chairman Ashish Khetan, is now working with Union IT Ministry.

"Rajender Kumar formed a company viz Endeavors Systems Private Ltd along with some persons. In 2007, he became secretary (IT) in Govt of NCT of Delhi. During this period, he got this company empanelled with Public Sector Unit (PSU) viz ICSIL, ICSIL is an IT PSU and being a PSU can do work for departments without tenders.

"It is understood that IT related work and SAP licence for omega replica watches store more than Rs 50 crores were got done through this modus operandi," Joshi alleged.

The work orders were allegedly given to Endeavors Systems Private Ltd through ISCIL when Rajendra Kumar was Secretary (IT), later as CMD(Transco), Secretary (Health) and Commissioner (VAT), he alleged in the complaint.

"It is learnt that a chain of such companies were formed between 2009 and 2014 in the fields of energy, real estate, coaching with Ashok Kumar as a common director in these companies. It is learnt that most of these companies have common addresses and common directors. Some common directors are relatives of Rajender Kumar," Joshi alleged.

Meanwhile, ACB officials said that complaint has been received against Kumar and they are examining the matter. "We are examining the matter and a notice may be issued to Rajender Kumar," they said.
